Biographies of Emilia Pardo Bazán for future readers

This paper offers an analysis of the reviews and biographies of Emilia Pardo Bazan aimed at children and young people. It begins with a sample of textbooks for 4th grade of GCSE and 1st year of GCE and goes on to focus on informative biographies, both individual and short biographies included in anthologies of women. The aim of this work is to analyze what information is offered to this specific public to approach her life and work, what works are mentioned and what images are used to illustrate her person. In total, 11 materials have been studied and the comparative study not only draws conclusions but also opens doors to new questions or reflections, such as the lack of materials on this author aimed at younger audiences.
