Stress to health workers during the Covid-19 Pandemic

This study analyzes work stress in health workers during the pandemic. The term "stress" comes from scientific research materials, where the phenomenon was defined as the cause of the effects of external forces, mainly of a physical nature, which is considered to act as material stimuli and are used as a definition of the corresponding impacts on the individual. Therefore, this paper attempts to investigate the impact of the pandemic on the rise of work stress among health workers. In the study, quantitative method was adopted. The participants were composed of 100 health workers. The data were collected via the stress scale (Rosado, 2012) The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and the prevalence of symptom severity was scored. The results revealed that the prevalence of stress among health workers was high during the covid 19 pandemic and the stress symptoms were higher in females than in males.
