A taxonomic study of Korean Myllaena Erichson is presented based on morphological and molecular characters (COI and 28S). Six species are recognized, three of which are new species (Myllaena aculeata Kim and Ahn sp. nov., Myllaena belua Kim and Ahn sp. nov., and Myllaena koreana Kim and Ahn sp. nov.). Myllaena intermedia Erichson is newly added to the Korean fauna. Detailed morphological characters and molecular analyses support the validity of these species. Intraspecific genetic divergence of COI using uncorrected p-distance among in-dividuals of Korean Myllaena species ranged from 0 % to 1.15 %, while interspecific divergence among three species ranged from 12.2 % to 16.9 %. All species were each supported as a single lineage based on COI and 28S on both parsimony and maximum likelihood trees. A key, descriptions, habitus photographs, and illustrations of diagnostic characters of Korean Myllaena species are provided to facilitate identification. urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:0675DB81-5A24-4BA6-9A9B-E0AA57B16225.
