Super duplex stainless steel with balance ratio produced by laser directed energy deposition (L-DED)

摘要
In this study, employing modified Cr25 duplex stainless steel (DSS) powder and the laser directed energy deposition (L-DED) process, a balanced ferrite (F) and austenite (A) duplex structure (F: A approximate to 50: 50) is achieved in the as-deposited state, eliminating the need for subsequent heat treatment. The tensile performance of the deposited DSS is on par with forged 2507 DSS, while its resistance to localized corrosion and susceptibility to intergranular corrosion surpasses that of forged sample.
