摘要
This research proposes an analysis of the communicative articulations of indigenous peoples in the Covid-19 pandemic against erasure in public and media agendas. This article problematizes the experience of indigenous peoples with the disease, asking: what meanings are mobilized by these peoples, in Brazil, in their political, cultural and communicative articulations about the Covid-19 pandemic, in the digital environment ? The research aims to understand how indigenous people experience this reality and the meanings constructed about it in the pandemic. As a research corpus, the website emergenciaindigena.apiboficial.org was selected, a website managed by entities representing indigenous peoples, regarding the pandemic in indigenous areas. As conceptual and methodological procedures, we dialogue with symbolic interactionism and enunciative and narrative analysis in Rabatel (2016). Results point to the dominance of digital communication in the search for autonomous channels that can subvert meanings constructed about indigenous people in traditional media narratives.
