摘要
This project focuses on discussing the role of generative design in addressing contemporary social and environmental issues. It investigates the process of generating large volumes of parts and proposes selection criteria for the script outputs through the process of mapping the form of space to its use. This process allows the resulting forms to be further modified to respond to the desired function as well as be combined with other forms. The selected objects were evaluated through the kit-of-parts approach and incorporated the assemblage principles to create a sample arrangement at a building scale. As the final output, this project focuses on reimagining an offshore oil platform in the context of industrial heritage and its relationship with the natural environment upon decommission. Through nature, technology, and community engagement with public spaces, the industrial site will be transformed into a space of encounter and productive coexistence.
