摘要：

This article aims to study a case of electoral fraud in Los Andes State (Venezuela) during the general elections of December 1893 through various documentary sources, to finally make an analysis of census data of the period, establishing the size of the electorate (men over 21 years of age authorized to exercise the vote) and comparing this data with the official result of the elections.
