摘要
This article analyzes the training of teachers in the Teaching Courses at the Institute of Education in Belem, in the state of Para, and at the Escola Franciscana Imaculada Conceicao de Dourados, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, with the aim of understanding the participation of women in these two courses, from 1974 to 1991. The core of the guiding questions is whether or not there was the presence of women and the consequent feminization of teaching in these courses. Methodologically, the work was carried out through bibliographic and documentary research. The results indicated that the presence of women in both courses was significant, which allows us to conclude that, although in different numbers, training in the two institutions follows and at the same time extends a trend that has been ongoing since the first decades of the 20th century.
