摘要：

The article is devoted to the study of the methods of the fight against infectious diseases and the analysis of the healthcare system in Tambov province in the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries. Published reports of zemstvo institutions and thematic collections on the medicine state for some years are used as the main sources. In addition, archival materials of the Lipetsk and Tambov state archives are used. The article analyzes the network of medical institutions, the main methods of infectious diseases and epidemics combating.
