Las 16 censuras sobre Mexico albergadas en el fondo de la RAH dibujan un variado y completo panorama sobre la historiografia novohispana en el siglo XVIII. Entre ellas encontramos solicitudes para nuevas obras, pero tambien de reimpresion de obras clasicas, continuaciones, traducciones, polemicas e incluso un poema epico. El analisis de los expedientes tiene el objetivo de inferir si hubo unas constantes particulares en la modelacion del relato sobre Mexico y, por ende, del siempre controvertido asunto de la Conquista, por parte de la RAH y de los Consejos de Castilla e Indias.The 16 book censorships on Mexico housed in the RAH's draw a varied and complete panorama of New Spain's historiography in the 18th. Among them we find licence applications for new works, and also for reprints of classic works, as well as sequels, translations, polemics and even an epic poem. The analysis of the files has the objective of inferring whether there were some particular constants in the modelling of the history about Mexico and the always controversial issue of the Conquest, by the RAH and the councils of Castile and the Indies.
