摘要
This retrospective study analyzes crimes against individuals with schizophrenia using data from 91 cases in the Supreme Court database (July 2022, keyword 'schizophrenia') through qualitative and quantitative methods. Most commonly violated legal interests of victims: property (33.7%), sexual integrity (19.1%), and physical integrity (15.7%). Predominant crime types include fraud (24.7%), sexual assault (18%), intentional injury (15.7%), and intentional/reckless killing (11.2%). Over half the crimes are moderately violent (65.2%), with victims mainly experiencing economic violence (36.3%). The results underscore the importance of collaboration among mental health professionals, judiciary members, and policymakers to implement a protective plan of action.
