摘要
Grid connected photovoltaic plant installations have attracted attention globally, owing to the need for the best alternatives to fossil fuels. In these conditions, investigating the performance and reliability of the grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems is critical when used in real climate conditions. As one of the best ways to compare and assess the efficiency of solar power plants is to use the well-known parameter: performance ratio (PR). This paper aims to generate, analyze and compare the DC performance ratio maps of three types of silicon photovoltaic technologies (monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous silicon solar cells) based on 20 grid-connected photovoltaic systems located in 20 Moroccan higher education institutions. It was revealed that the yearly average daily DC performance ratio (PR) for polycrystalline, monocrystalline and amorphous silicon solar cells are 90.64 %, 90.10 % and 87.30 % respectively.
