摘要：

The paper examines elements of the funerary rite recorded during the excavations at Gorodishche-2 (Shilovsky district, Ryazan region). This study is not intended to characterize the burial rite of all Ryazan-Oka cemeteries and related groups and cultures examined so far. The focus of our study are comprehensive data collected during three years of excavations of the biritual necropolis. New materials offer a possibility to expand and improve substantially our knowledge on the funerary rite practiced by the Ryazan-Oka population.
