摘要
Policy PointsAfter decades of scientific progress and growth in academic literature, there is a recognition that climate change poses a substantial threat to the health and well-being of individuals and communities both in the United States and globally.Solutions to mitigate and adapt to climate change can have important health cobenefits.A vital component of these policy solutions is that they must also take into consideration historic issues of environmental justice and racism, and implementation of these policies must have a strong equity lens.
