摘要
The constitution of the subject in society goes through the family and the school microsystem. For immigrant students there is a greater demand to deal with the cultural and social values of their strain and of the country where they live. Microaggressions are subtle and implicit violence involved in the interaction between groups with power imbalances, as is the case between natives, immigrants, and their children. The present essay deals with the school context of immigrant children and/or children of immigrant descent regarding microaggressions from the analysis of inferences available in the scientific literature. It was possible to discuss the implications that microaggressions can cause in immigrant children and their descendants, passing through implications in social and academic development. It is concluded that there is a need for attention focused on microaggressions against this group in the school context, taking into account the subtlety of this violence and the heterogeneity of the immigrant population.
