摘要：

Leptochilus scandens, a new microsoroid fern species of Polypodiaceae from southwestern Guangdong, South China, is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to some taxa of the L. ellipticus complex in its frond shape and lobe size, but differs them by its climbing habit, monomorphic frond, fewer lobes, and precocious individuals sometimes with simple or 2-or 3-lobed fertile fronds.
