摘要
Juan Bautista Alberdi was an Argentine intellectual who, through his works, influenced part of the Latin American thought of the moment and of the first half of the 20th century. His work "The Crime of War" enjoyed great international prestige among pacifist circles and among Western European intellectuals during the first decades of the 20th century. Although his figure as a renowned intellectual was eclipsing over the years, his legacy was reflected in the founding documents of international organizations, as well as in treaties and doctrines of America. With the arrival of the new century, his work is once again the object of study among American academic circles, forcing a rereading and a new assessment of his legacy.
