摘要
This study investigates the impact of saturation magnetostriction (lambda s) on ac initial permeability (mu i) at 1 kHz for a range of Fe -based amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys with varying levels of lambda s from close to 0 to + 38 ppm. Results demonstrate a negative correlation between lambda s and mu i across the tested compositions, highlighting the importance of considering magnetostriction in the development of the exchange -softened magnetic alloys. It has also been found that mu i and core loss at 1 kHz and 1.0 T are negatively correlated, despite a large difference in the applied magnetic field. Thus, for a given frequency, high mu i is a good indicator of low core losses. The negative correlation between lambda s and mu i suggests that the domain wall dynamics is influenced by magnetostriction.
