摘要
With the advent of the internet, adolescents are exposed to opportunities and challenges, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This article explores how family functioning and attachment relate to the development of problematic internet use. It discusses the role of online activities, such as video games and pornography, as coping strategies for emotional dysregulation and their connection to family dynamics and attachment styles, emphasizing the need for an integrated perspective in understanding and addressing these issues. The risks associated with adolescents' engagement in these activities and potential consequences for their offline lives are also examined. Finally, the article underscores the distinctions between online gaming and pornography, highlighting the unique social and cognitive dynamics associated with each activity.
