摘要
This paper introduces a vector control method for switched reluctance motors (SRMs) driven by asymmetric H-bridge inverters (AHBIs), utilizing a general rotating coordinate system synchronized with the electrical rotor angle, similar to conventional synchronous motors. A torque model is also formulated, incorporating the 2nd-order harmonics of inductance, for the proposed vector control strategy. The derived torque model accurately estimated the 6th-order torque ripple through simulations, exhibiting only a 0.2% amplitude error and a 0.1% phase error. Experimental results corroborated the effectiveness of the proposed vector control approach for SRMs. A comparative analysis with the conventional method revealed a substantial 61.12% reduction in the 6th-order torque ripple, although a 6.98 percentage points decrease in motor efficiency. Additionally, 4.0 percentage points improvement was achieved in the DC torque generation error relative to the reference torque.
