摘要：
This paper proposes a gradient-based method to calculate (s, S) policies for periodic review inventory systems. The method first applies the MacLaurin expansion technique to calculate performance measures and their derivatives and then uses them in gradient-based algorithms to determine the values of s and S. The method is easy to implement and numerical experiments show it to be very efficient.& COPY; 2023 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
