摘要
Improving the efficiency of photovoltaic conversion is highly imperative for solar cells. The recent proposed technologies is solar cell MWT (Metal Wrap Through) concept. In this work, we present this structure designed for 10 cm(2) under illumination AM1.5g. There are several families of interdigitated rear contact cells, in which the main advantage is the absence of contact on the front face, reducing the rate of shading. Our study is based on the geometrical optimization of the heterojunction MWT concept, to achieve improved conversion efficiency, a structure is employed, consisting of a p-type multi-crystalline silicon substrate, an n-type amorphous silicon-based emitter, and a p-type Back Surface Field (BSF). The BSF and emitter are positioned in an interdigitated configuration and coated with ohmic contacts. Numerical simulations are conducted using SILVACO software within the Atlas module. The highest efficiency achieved through this approach is 19.02%. Nonetheless, these findings underscore the promising potential of heterojunction silicon technology.
