摘要
A multiband tunable electromagnetic-induced transparency (EIT)-like effect in graphene metamaterial at U-band frequency range is investigated. To obtain the EIT-like effect, graphene is placed on top of the stacked structure which contains dielectric and gold layers. The multiband analogy EIT phenomenon can be tuned by the chemical potentials of graphene and physical size of metamaterial. The results show that there are different resonance modes in the structure. The resonance mode in the low frequency band is Fano resonance, while in the intermediate and high frequency bands it is electric resonance. The demonstrated phenomenon may be a valuable variety of important applications, including U-band communication technology and switch.Graphical abstractThe graphene metamaterial is composed of three layers which are quartz, graphene, and gold. The graphene is placed on top of the stacked structure which contains quartz and gold layers.A multiband tunable electromagnetic-induced transparency (EIT) effect can be obtained in the graphene metamaterials.
