摘要
The Miluus described in Fasti 3 is a star with no records in ancient astronomy, and the myth of its catasterism too is otherwise unknown. This article addresses these two problems together, identifying in both of them the role of the poet's creativity Taking the cue from a possible ambiguity in the parapegma tradition, Ovid invents a new star and develops an original catasterism based on several literary models, especially on Hesiod's Theogony.
