摘要
The generation of waste from anthropogenic activities has caused great concern worldwide, mainly because one of the challenges at the global level is to guarantee the quality of water according to its uses. Some endocrine disruptors (4-nonylphenol and bisphenol A) are some of the compounds that are most commonly found in water bodies and have potential impacts on human and environmental health due to their incomplete breakdown in water treatment plants. This paper refers to the synthesis of molecular imprinted polymers (MIPs) with a retention capacity in excess of 90 percent for both compounds. This represents a starting point for the development of applicable methodologies for the removal of emerging pollutants in water bodies.
