Wittgenstein and the religious language

This paper aims to analyze how Wittgenstein deals with religious language, resorting to some of his writings concerned with this subject. Initially, some important aspects of his philosophy will be exposed, especially those that address the relations between language and reality, whether in his early writings, as the Tractatus LogicoPhilosophicus, or in his late philosophy, which has the Philosophical Investigations as its most emblematic work. After exposing and analyzing how religious language is addressed at different times in his philosophy, a critical evaluation of his proposals will be made.
