摘要
By fabricating superconducting joint, two small bulk superconductors can be joined to form a larger one, thereby achieving a higher trapped field. However, the quality of the superconducting joints plays a crucial role in determining the trapped field. In this paper, a two-dimensional numerical model based on the H-formulation is employed to simulate the distribution of the trapped magnetic field in jointed bulk superconductors, aiming to evaluate the effects of different superconducting joints. The simulation results, in the case of field cooling and pulsed field magnetization, qualitatively agree with the experimental results. Consequently, superconducting joints have an significant influence on the magnetization process, the trapped field distribution and the mechanical response of the jointed sample. Additionally, we present the numerical simulation results for the distribution of the trapped field when matrix in different cutting and jointing orientations.
