摘要
A good learning environment involves minimal distractions so that students can engage in the process. This paper describes a system that aims to address the issue of noise in university classrooms and its negative impact on student's performance. It proposes a noise control and monitoring system using networked sensors. This system allows to collect in real time accurate measurements of noise levels and notify faculty and students when noise overpasses the thresholds. This could be of great benefit to ensure a productive learning environment.
