Modernization and Interaction in the Turkic World

It should be said that the Turkish Enlightenment, which started to develop in the 19th century, has two pillars: Turkey and Turkistan. The innovation in Turkey started in the field of military service and spread to all other fields; In Turkestan, it started exclusively in the field of education. The main reason for this, whereas the Turkestan was colonized by the Russians is the existence of an independent and continually state organization in Turkey. This situation, which is interpreted as two different methods of the modernization process, is a situation that needs to be seriously examined for the Turks. Institutions and professions that emerged in the process of modernization affect and shape developments. In this study, it is assumed that the developments in education, newspaper/journalism and politics in Turkey and Turkistan during the modernization process affect each other. Mainly, it is tried to be put forward that the developments in the mentioned fields come into contact with various occasions and create an interaction.
