摘要
Leaving carbon-based energy will mean destruction for the players in the industry. As such, justice is an important factor in the transitioning process from a carbon-based energy to a green energy. However, what is considered 'just' remain a subject of debate in the existing literatures. This article aims to take a juridical normative approach to formulate 'just' concept in just energy transition in Indonesia energy transition policy, by scrutinizing the theory and practice and looking the status quo in Indonesia energy governance. This article proposes two practical solutions to the New and Renewable Energy Bill. Indonesia should include just transition concept and allow public participation in decision-making process to enable a 'just' energy transition.
