摘要
Underthe background of the energy crisis and the expansion ofhuman activities, developing low-temperature batteries is of significanceto provide electricity in cold conditions. Due to their low cost andhigh energy density, zinc-air batteries are recognized as potentialbatteries to overcome the disadvantage of traditional batteries. Gelelectrolytes have been widely applied in low-temperature zinc-basedbatteries, and their anti-deforming capability makes them compatiblewith flexible devices. This work illustrates an A-PAA gel electrolytewith KOH solution in flexible zinc-air batteries, and withthe introduction of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), the cycling stabilityand specific capacity of the batteries at -20 & DEG;C increase.This work discusses the SDS compatibility with the gel and exploresits improvement effect in low-temperature batteries for the firsttime. The result of this work can inspire the discovery of the applicabilityof more conventional electrolyte additives in cold conditions, whichcan improve low-tempeature battery performance via easy methods.
