摘要：
This paper investigates the use of a model-based approach for planning the implementation of manufacturing management systems. Manufacturing management systems such as ERPs, MESs and PLMs are defined by various standards and frameworks and are developed and implemented based on the specific industry they are to be operated within. Such implementations require conformance to large document-centric requirement sets and are depicted in cumbersome vendor-specific specifications. This paper utilizes the ArchiMate language and notation for planning such implementations and engaging stakeholders prior to domain-specific implementation.
