摘要:
New York City Health + Hospitals (NYC H+H) is the largest public health care system in the United States, safeguarding some 1.4 million patients annually; its 9600+ nurses are charged with delivering essential healthcare to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of society. NYC H+H is forging foundational trans -formation with an innovative, 3-tiered nurse mentorship program addressing the current imbalance between the demographics of the general population and the corresponding racial and ethnic composition of the nursing profession, as well as supporting the goals of promoting diversity and inclusion; eliminating health dis-parities, and serving disparate demographic populations with care and compassion.
