摘要:
This article analyzes the freedom of argumentation in public debates, along the lines proposed by Christopher Wolfe in an inclusive liberal model, in the light of the Brazilian legal system. The objective is to investigate to what extent the freedom to expose all kinds of reasons in public debates, defended in Christopher Wolfe's inclusive liberalism, has applicability in Brazil. The study contributes with an analysis of the possibility of applying, in Brazil, the proposal of a more inclusive liberalism in the scope of public debates, as defended by the author, since, currently, it is possible to verify a lack of reflections on the subject. Finally, the research concludes that the idea defended by the author, despite having a greater possibility of application in the North American context, in Brazil cannot be fully supported, requiring some adaptations. For that, the hypothetical-deductive method is used, with a documental and bibliographic analysis and a qualitative approach to the theme.
