摘要
There is increasing evidence in the academic literature of the need for the inclusion of physical exercise in the treatment of diseases. There are a significant number of professionals involved in this and there is a need to clarify the differential competences of the different professionals in this prescription. The aim of this research is to analyse the competences and contents related to physical exercise in the curricula of the degree courses of the health professions: Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy, and the competences and contents related to the field of health of the professionals of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. A descriptive research was carried out, in which the curricula of the different degrees were reviewed and analysed. The methodology used in the study was the analysis of documentary content on competences and contents of the different professions, using as documents of analysis the regulatory regulations of the professions (regulatory orders and the resolution of 18 September 2018 of the General Secretary of Universities) and the curricula of these professions in the different Spanish universities. Comparative analysis tables were used for this purpose. 42 curricula for Medicine, 60 for Nursing, 54 for Physiotherapy and 40 for Cafyde were analysed. The training received by healthcare personnel and Cafyde professionals to prescribe physical exercise is scarce and incomplete. Therefore, it would be interesting to review and modify the study plans by creating specialised itineraries (mentions) in different fields in order to increase the hours of training in physical exercise as a means of treating illnesses.
