摘要
In the activity of the National Markets (2008-2021) there has been a decline from the last ninety to 2007. Since then, it has stabilized at 500,000 cattle entered. All the markets decreased, except for Salamanca. Four dominate: Pola de Siero, Santiago de Compostela, Salamanca and Torrelavega exceed 100,000 head in 2018 and 2019, not in 2020 due to Covid-19, almost recovered in 2021. They essentially operate on cattle up to one year old. Foreign trade in cattle has been very active during the period under review, imports with a growing trend, and also exports, especially to third countries, since the start of exports to Mediterranean countries in 2010. In exports, the most sought-after animals are those weighing more than 300 kilos. In imports are in the majority animals weighing less than 80 kilos, which are demanded by Spanish feedlots.
