摘要
In the epistolary corpus ad Hiaracum by Elisio Calenzio and in the Dialogo sopra la nobilta by Giuseppe Parini, at a distance of three centuries, similar arguments occur regarding the definition of true nobility. In two epochs, the Fifteenth and the Eighteenth centuries, in which the emerging merchant classes tended to take on a leading social role, intellectuals delved into the historical attributes that over the ages had substantiated the elitism of a noble status, to which inevitably the role of man of letters and pedagogue had been tied.
