摘要
A quadratic high-gain, high-efficiency converter is proposed in this paper. The proposed topology benefits from the boost converter's good attributes. Continuous input current, besides its low ripple, is an inherent feature of the proposed converter. Additionally, the proposed converter performs switching with two low-side switches, which simplifies its drive. Because of its aforesaid features, the proposed converter is suitable for photovoltaic applications. All of the equations required for analysis, as well as the design parameters for the proposed converter, are extracted. Also, the proposed converter has been analyzed in non-ideal mode, and the non-ideal voltage gain along with its losses have been presented. Simulations are carried out to validate the extracted equations, and the results are presented.
