Propylenglykol wird als Tragerstoff in zahlreichen Kosmetika, Nahrungsmitteln und pharmazeutischen Produkten eingesetzt und gilt als Kontaktallergen. Wie haufig reagieren Menschen im Epikutantest auf Propylenglykol bzw. wie haufig verursacht die chemische Verbindung eine allergische Kontaktdermatitis? Diese Fragestellung untersuchte ein australisches Forscherteam mithilfe einer retrospektiven Studie.
