摘要
Electric vehicle technology is an effective solution to environmental problems, but at the same time, e-vehicles are challenging from a metrological point of view. Range and efficiency are crucial for performance issues. Metrology should address those issues in order to provide valuable tools for designers and final customers. This paper deals with the realization and testing of a test bench to metrologically characterize electric vehicle main components in the energy conversion chain, from the mains to the wheels. The test bench has been realized for educational purposes during the class "Measurements for e- mobility and smart energy systems" at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" (Aversa, Italy), and it can be used to estimate the energy efficiency of the whole power train or its components in the various operating conditions.
