摘要
The effects of the inclination angle and heat flux of a V-shaped tube array immersed in water at atmospheric pressure on the saturated pool boiling are experimentally investigated. The bundle consists of two stainless steel tubes, equally positioned in a vertical plane. When the surrounding tube is operated, the heat transfer coefficient rises slightly compared with that of a single tube. As the inclination angle and heat flux increase, the heat transfer coefficient tends to increase; however, as the heat flux gradually increases, the inclination angle at which the heat transfer is clearly observed approaches 60 degrees. As the inclination angle approaches 180 degrees and the heat flux increases, the effect of bubbles sliding on the tube surface on the heat transfer becomes larger.
