PRECISION TEACHING MODEL UNDER ONLINE AND OFFLINE HYBRID LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

摘要
Affected by the epidemic COVID-19, the online and offline hybrid teaching model has gradually become the main form in colleges and universities all over the world. However, the current teaching model is still beset by the limitation of students'passive learning. How to construct and conduct precision teaching has been one of the most important problems to be solved urgently these days. The development of information technology, especially the growth of educational big data, provides opportunities for the precision teaching currently. In this context, we summarize the theoretical methods of precision teaching, and propose a novel precision teaching model based on educational big data from the aspects of establishing teaching goals, conducting classroom precision teaching, implementing teaching evaluations, and making predictions. After that, we take the course "Database principle and application" as an example, presenting the detailed precision teaching process. The results show that the proposed teaching model could promote the application of big data technology in the field of precision teaching, activate the vitality of precision teaching, and further improve the effectiveness of precision teaching in higher education.
