摘要
In this paper, food safety was characterized from consumers' point of view. Food safety can be checked in the laboratory, which can be shown, for example, by many certificates , obligatory food safety management systems, but consumers have their own ways to assess the safety of food as well as to make themselves be sure about the safety of food products they buy.The results of a survey made among 2000 consumers are presented. Food safety is an important characteristic of food for consumers as well as the lack of food preservatives and other additives. It was shown that consumers actively paricipate for assurance food safety they consume. It was indicated as the most popular way to assure food safety is to check information on the food labels. To make sure the product they buy is safe, the usually buy a, the product they know , product with a certificate.
