摘要
Due to the unique fingerprint spectra of many bio-molecules in the terahertz range, their detection in this frequency band has gained widespread attention. However, in practical applications, there are still many difficulties in effectively measuring the spectra of trace analyte samples. This study demonstrates the enhancement of terahertz absorption spectra in bio-molecular materials by utilizing a metal groove array in geometry parameters multiplexing and the relationship between the enhancement characteristics and the thickness of the sample as well as the number of structural grooves. The results indicate that the absorption enhancement factor for a 0.1-mu m-thick lactose sample is approximately 120 times. This design offers a better method for detecting bio-molecular materials.
