Physical activity has a significant impact on a global scale on the level of fitness and physical and psychological health of individuals. So the development of literacy in physical activity is of broad concern. This study aimed to investigate the development and evolution of physical activity research based on the distribution of bibliometric maps and research trends on Scopus data using VOSviewer software. This study summarizes results and trends in physical activity research over the past four years. The articles analysed were taken from the Scopus Database of as many as 994 publications. The literature search was conducted online with the keyword "physical activity" according to the criteria titles, keywords, and abstract (topic area). The period used in this sampling considers the topic of physical activity is between 2019-2022. In the initial search, the chosen threshold found 3870 terms related to physical activity, and there were 128 terms of physical activity literacy. From 128 terms of physical activity, 80 terms of articles were determined that are most relevant to the topic of physical activity. The article was downloaded in *.ris format and processed using HistCite 12.3 software to facilitate data analysis. Furthermore, data analysis using VOSviewer for visualization and trend analysis in the form of bibliometric mapping. This bibliometric analysis reveals the characteristics and trends of the literature on physical activity published between 2019-2022 using the Scopus database. The research results show that the topics or keywords of physical activity programs, physical activity intervention, and exercise are in the same cluster; this indicates a close relationship between these topics. The results of this study describe the development of research around physical activity and its relationship with other variables. The limitation of this research is no systematic analysis of the subject, country, and country income. But this article attempts to configure and visualize the sharing of literature systematically and analyse it through a bibliometric approach. The results of this study are expected to contribute to further publications so that they always follow trends in physical activity research that are following the needs of people's lives. Thus, the research and publications carried out will always be up to date and able to solve problems that occur, especially in the field of physical activity and health.
