摘要
Using Digital Games in English Language classrooms is a process that has a high potential for use, as it promotes student motivation and engagement. However, selecting a game that has the potential to assist in English teaching in elementary school is a challenge due to the diversity of games currently available. In this context, the objective of this article is to carry out a Systematic Mapping to identify and analyze Digital Games and articles that approached Digital Games applied in the English Teaching in elementary school. As a result, 24 games were selected and analyzed that address grammar content in the past and present tense and vocabulary construction (feelings, lifestyles) and modal verbs, through the genres, action, simulation and quiz. Results of this Mapping can help English language teachers in the identification and selection of games for use in their teaching practice, with the aim of stimulating student motivation and engagement by exploring the benefits of digital games
