That they serve as a guide for the self-assessment of the services they provide regarding the articulation of the Science, Technology and In-novation Management System and the academic process, in correspondence with the potential demands of the relevant knowledge of the faculties, teaching departments and external organizations linked to the training of human resources in the university, considering its management of vital importance due to its role as a key resource for the success of the substantive processes that are developed in the institution, due to the fact that it optimizes the resources and capacities in the academic works and of applied research, defined in the different thematic lines declared in the investigations. This allows to establish as a general objective: the determination of the state of the resources, the methods and form of operation of the University Observatory and as specific objectives: to determine the strengths, weaknesses and gaps in the information resources, as well as the value, the operation and the utility of the information systems, evaluate the complete information service of the Observatory in the institution to specify the relationship between the effort made to obtain the information and its use.
