The concept of person in "Introduction to Christianity". by Joseph Ratzinger

In this article we have tried to elaborate the definition of person proposed by Joseph Ratzinger in Introduction to Christianity. Although the concept of person is not exposed in a systematic and orderly way in the book, after a careful study, a clear idea of what it means is perceived in it. Thus, after a brief introduction, we begin by addressing the subject of Joseph Ratzinger's anthropology (prerequisite to the notion of person). We continue with a systematization of the concept of person. Fourth, we address the relationship between person and dignity, and move on to the relationship of each of the parts of the Creed with the concept of person, since it has in the Christian faith its main significant foundation. Finally, we give a definition of person according to Ratzinger in 1968: intimate relationship of truth and love.
