摘要
Green and promising technologies are current interests of the developing societies. Advantages of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) overcome traditional extraction processes due to the quality aspects and environmental benefits. However, the relative high cost of the system makes these technologies commercial applicability in question for some products species. In our study, we intended to investigate the SFE of flaxseed oil in pilot scale system. Techno-economic analyses of SFE of flaxseed oil was evaluated using computational simulation software. The results demonstrated that high scales of SFE systems are feasible due to the high productivity. Although high investment is necessary for high-capacity extraction systems, low Cost of Manufacturing (COM) and short payback time can be accomplished.
