摘要
Introduction/objective: Drinking water supply and proper wastewater management are fundamental aspects to ensure people's health. However, certifying the quality of these services is a challenge that requires an efficient and comprehensive approach. In this sense, implementing management systems or digital technologies can be key solutions to make these services more efficient. The purpose of the study was to determine how the quality management system influences the drinking water and sewerage services of the company EPS Barranca S. A., located in the province of Barranca, Peru. Methodology: A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational approach was followed. A questionnaire was designed for which 80 administrative workers participated. Results: Spearman's Rho correlation analysis was used, which gave a value of 0.945 (p < 0.05) and which evidenced that a quality management system significantly influences the drinking water and sewerage service of the company EPS Barranca S. A. Conclusions: It was confirmed that the quality management system has a positive and relevant impact on drinking water and sewerage services and that it is an important tool in the company, since it highlights the components of service superiority and, consequently, allows delivering a service that is at the level of user expectations.
